Dr Craig McGrath

Dr McGrath grew up in Sydney and obtained his medical degree at UNSW, graduating in 1994. He conducted his post-graduate Anaesthetic training in Melbourne primarily at the Austin Hospital and St Vincent’s.

His international experience includes working as a volunteer teacher and clinician in Fiji and South America. He also spent 6 years in the NHS (England) as a Consultant with an interest in Cardiac at University Hospitals Birmingham and St George’s London, providing anaesthetic care for patients undergoing heart and lung transplantation and major aortic surgery. He was on faculty for teaching of advanced techniques in echocardiography and ultrasound-guided regional anaesthetic techniques.

Since returning to Australia in 2015, Dr McGrath has developed an active private practice in Melbourne.
